Braised Swiss Chard

This is the side dish in the picture. The rest of this dish is roasted chicken thighs and rice.
Directions:
- Chop up 3 pieces of bacon and brown in a deep pan.
- Chop up a bunch swiss chard into chunks; the stems you should cut like diced celery. Add all to the pan with the bacon and bacon grease.
- Add ¼ cup of white vinegar, ¾ cup chicken broth, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and a pinch of black pepper.
- Cook uncovered on medium heat until stems are soft, occasionally mixing, about 10-15 minutes.
Enjoy as a delicious side dish to any meal. 🙂
